PACS firm eRad of Greenville, SC, announced signing an agreement with Lake Forest Hospital in Illinois to deploy its Web-based system for managing online distribution and remote access to medical records and images.
Lake Forest is a 215-bed community hospital with eight outpatient imaging centers near Chicago.
The Greenville, SC, company said that its technology will enable referring physicians to gain secure, real-time access to reports and images via the Internet, utilizing a common browser interface.
