Radiation exposure app released for iPhone

Canadian software developer Tidal Pool Software has introduced a radiation exposure software application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.

Radiation Passport 1.0 keeps tracks track of radiation exposure and calculates cancer risks from radiology and imaging-related exams and procedures, according to the Victoria, British Columbia-based firm. It can also calculate risks for common/background radiation.

It's available now in the Apple App Store for $2.99.
