NightHawk turns in record Q2

NightHawk Radiology Holdings, the parent company of NightHawk Radiology Services, reported record second-quarter revenues of $22.9 million, up 49% compared with the $15.3 million booked in the second quarter of 2005.

For the period (end-June 30), the Coeur d'Alene, ID-based teleradiology services provider had a generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) net income of $5 million, compared with a GAAP net loss of $8.8 million a year ago (including a $10 million noncash charge).

The company is raising its annual guidance for revenues and adjusted earnings per share. NightHawk now estimates its annual services revenue to be in the range of $89 million to $91 million, up from previous estimates of $87 million to $89 million. Adjusted earnings per diluted share is expected to range from 61¢ to 64¢ per share, up from 53¢ to 56¢ diluted adjusted earnings per share.
