InfiMed adds to cardiac offerings

Digital imaging developer InfiMed has debuted several additions to its cardiac product line. PlatinumOne Cardiac is an in-room digital acquisition system that employs new InfiMed advanced image processing features, an expanded DICOM 3.0 interface, and the Liverpool, NY-based vendor's newly designed CCD camera system.

PlatinumOne Combo adds real-time digital subtraction capability for interventional vascular procedures, as well as full cardiac functionality, while PlatinumOne EP is designed to provide features and low-dose fluoroscopic acquisition required for complex electrophysiology procedures, according to the firm.

Clinical trials of Cardiac and Combo systems were performed at Bay Area Heart Center in St. Petersburg, FL, and Scripps Green Hospital in San Diego.
