Imaging informatics firm Viztek plans to debut a modular electronic health record (EHR) to enhance radiology workflow.

The new EHR, scheduled for introduction at this year's RSNA meeting, will be compatible with Mac, Android, Windows, and other systems.

The platform will allow all radiology software components to work together in a Web-based architecture to enhance the functionality of each component, Viztek said.

In addition, a Web portal features tools that are accessible throughout an entire imaging exam process from scheduling to final report.
