Kaiser Permanente to buy IDXrad for California sites

Healthcare information systems vendor IDX Systems announced that healthcare organization Kaiser Permanente has signed an agreement to purchase version 10 of the Burlington, VT-based vendor's IDXrad radiology information system.

Kaiser will implement IDXrad 10 in approximately 12 medical centers and offices affiliated with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Southern California. IDX and Kaiser have maintained a relationship since 1997, with Kaiser deploying IDXrad at sites in Honolulu and Atlanta.
