Radiology informatics software developer CoActiv Medical Business Solutions of Ridgefield, CA, will highlight a new DICOM Modality Worklist service option and brokerless HL7 capabilities.

The Modality Worklist service option, provided at no extra charge, integrates the firm's Exam-PACS with HIS/RIS installations in which the HIS or RIS cannot provide the service.

The developer is scheduled to demonstrate its brokerless HL7 capabilities, which allow bidirectional HL7 communications to any HL7-capable application at a reduced cost. CoActiv said that this capability was developed in response to high HL7 integration fees being charged in the market.
