Carestream wins Netherlands contract

Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, has won a PACS contract extension with a Netherlands hospital.

Nij Smellinghe Hospital in Drachten signed a multiyear agreement for Carestream's RIS/PACS eHealth Managed Services, a cloud-based system. The hospital serves the region of southeast Friesland; the new agreement with Carestream extends an existing contract to include new RIS/PACS capability and the management of approximately 632,000 studies over the term of the agreement, according to Carestream.
