Sectra is reporting increases in sales and operating profit for the first quarter of the 2025/2026 fiscal year, which ended July 31.
The company said its net sales increased by 5.8% to 765.9 million Swedish krona ($80.9 million U.S.). Based on unadjusted exchange rates compared with the year-earlier period, the increase amounts to 12.1%. Also, recurring revenue accounted for 549.2 million Swedish krona ($58 million) of net sales, up 13.9%.
Sectra also reported its operating profit rose by 19% to 118.8 million Swedish krona ($12.5 million). This corresponds to an operating margin of 15.5%.
The company highlighted that, in geographic terms, the U.S. and the Swedish operations made the largest contribution to the sales growth. This occurred despite outcomes in the U.S. that Sectra said "were hampered by exchange-rate effects."
