eRAD lands Chicago customer

RIS/PACS provider eRAD, a subsidiary of imaging services provider RadNet, has won a contract with a Chicago imaging center for its eRAD PACS.

Advanced Medical Imaging Center installed eRAD PACS to streamline remote reading and reporting, according to the firm. eRAD PACS communicates with the center's RIS via HL7, and an onsite eRAD server is available to support local caching of images.
