Modular furniture provider Anthro of Tualatin, OR, has introduced a new, smaller version of its Carl's Table radiologist's workstation.
Carl's Table ct1 was designed specifically for small radiology reading rooms, teleradiology applications, and for radiologists who work from home. The product is smaller than Anthro's Carl's Table CT03 and CT08 products, but offers many of the same features such as electrical height adjustment and comfort controls for lighting and air circulation.
Carl's Table ct1 sports an ergonomic height-adjustable work environment designed for a single user, with motorized height movement combined with an independently adjustable keyboard surface to provide a height range of 21.5-54.5 inches. The table has a weight limit of up to 300 lb.
Air circulation and task lighting are integrated into the work surface, while a flexible LED task light can be positioned and manually dimmed for appropriate lighting. A choice of holders for PC central processing units (CPUs) attaches under the table, which has a safety system to protect the user and belongings when the table is in motion. Back and side panels can be added for privacy.
