Siemens will be discussing upgrades to its image management portfolio this year.

Siemens' syngo Imaging PACS network has received an expanded choice of image processing applications, faster image transfer speed, and further simplifications in the user interface, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor.

In cardiac developments, Siemens will discuss additions to its syngo Dynamics PACS line. The company has incorporated support for DICOM structured reporting, vascular measurement transfer from ultrasound scanners to syngo Dynamics, and integration with Siemens' Soarian Cardiology and Sensis hemodynamics measurement system.

Also new: a data mining tool, a software-only package for syngo Dynamics workstations, and user-defined measurements and calculations.
