NovaRad will spotlight version 6.5 of its NovaPACS software.
The new release features a new administrative console tool that allows better sorting, reporting, and information gathering and reporting, according to the American Fork, UT-based vendor.
Another addition, Referring Physician Specialist Viewer, offers referring physicians the same set of tools available on PACS workstations, NovaRad said. A fingerprint login capability has also been incorporated.
NovaPACS 6.5 includes an onsite, seven-year RAID 5 SCSI main archive and a backup archive with offsite backup, NovaRad said. Users can also employ NovaRIS 6.5, which uses the same database, as a complement to NovaPACS 6.5, according to the vendor.
