Empiric Systems will highlight the new release, v4.2, of its Encompass.NET Web-based radiology management system, which includes RIS, PACS, and billing capabilities.
New PACS functions include an integrated, customized version of the Clear Canvas open source Microsoft .Net DICOM image viewer, more configurable DICOM routing rules, enhanced DICOM modality worklist capabilities, additional merge/split DICOM study capabilities, and increased DICOM header editing options, according to the Morrisville, NC, company.
