Eastman Kodak Health Group has received a multimillion-dollar order from Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN.
The order includes a CareStream PACS network for review, storage, and distribution of 300,000 radiology imaging studies captured each year at Erlanger's five hospitals and one outpatient imaging center, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor. Kodak will also provide its Enterprise Information Management services, as well as eight DirectView CR 950 and CR 975 computed radiography systems.
In addition, Kodak said it would be migrating images and information from an existing Web server and integrate the new PACS network with an existing RIS, as well as the hospital's centralized storage-area network (SAN).
Kodak will also provide business diagnostics services to Erlanger.
