Agfa HealthCare has received a large imaging and information technology contract from the Salzburg District Hospitals in Austria.
The Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor will be providing its Orbis RIS, Impax PACS, and computed radiography systems. Under the terms of the $8.3 million (U.S.) agreement, Agfa will replace the district's current system with Orbis at the end of 2006.
Agfa will also be providing support and maintenance for 60 months.
