RamSoft will introduce version 4.0 of its PowerServer PACS, as well as its PowerServer + RIS integrated RIS/PACS network.
PowerServer 4.0, which accommodates unlimited users and workstations, provides Web-based and rule-based routing, hanging protocols, and the firm's PowerWorklist and PowerCache applications. It offers document scanning, dictation, transcription, digitizing, Dragon speech recognition, and multiplanar reformatting (MPR) tools, according to the Toronto-based firm. The product can also push images to Web clients.
An integrated RIS/PACS offering, PowerServer + RIS, also supports unlimited users and workstations and Web-based and rule-based routing. Designed for imaging centers and physician practices, PowerServer + RIS includes electronic billing, report generation, and mammography tracking capability.
