Lead, based in Charlotte, NC, will highlight its MiPACS Universal PACS network, which is intended to meet the image management needs of all specialties that handle images. These include radiology, dentistry, veterinary medicine, orthopedics, pathology, cardiology, and ophthalmology.
MiPACS Universal supports digitizer capability to capture images from non-DICOM analog devices, and it includes film scanning and cropping tools to create individual DICOM files, Lead said. It also accommodates DICOM media format export and import.
