eRad will debut e3, a new IT platform designed to extend its PACS software across the healthcare enterprise.
e3 includes new enterprise-capable archive and disaster recovery components, as well as the vendor's PACS Accessory Line (PAL). Aimed at enhancing the performance of older image management systems, PAL provides Web-distributed reports and Web browser-enabled viewing capability, according to the Greenville, SC-based firm.
Using much of the existing legacy PACS infrastructure, PAL also includes productivity, event notification, collaboration, and interactivity tools.
