Connect will show its DICOM Distributor image distribution application. Combined with the firm's ViewBox diagnostic workstation, DICOM Distributor provides diagnostic reading capability with the benefits of a Web-based teleradiology system, according to the Honolulu, HI-based vendor.
DICOM Distributor maintains a cache of studies and can distribute prior studies along with current ones. It uses rules to define subscription types for users.
A live status display shows all current recipients and whether they have studies in the queue. Individual studies can be removed from a queue or manually added to it for any recipient, Connect said.
Recipients can log in from any location; DICOM Distributor automatically picks up user IP addresses and distributes studies in the recipient's subscription.
