Cedara will introduce I-SoftView software, which integrates clinical functionality such as orthopedics, multidetector CT, PET/CT, oncology, and breast imaging into other vendors' PACS infrastructures.
I-SoftView includes several workflow-enhancing features: user-specific viewing protocols, study lists, functionality, and prioritization. Other features include thick-slab support for multiplanar reformatting (MPR), 3D, maximum intensity projection (MIP), and CAD support, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based firm.
The software provides a customizable user interface and online archiving capability. I-SoftView can be integrated into existing applications or serve as a standalone workstation.
Cedara will also feature I-Reach, which provides Web-enabled image and information access for multisite facilities. I-Reach correlates disparate data sources and presents them in relevant contexts, according to the vendor.
Like I-SoftView, I-Reach allows integration of MDCT, PET/CT, oncologic, orthopedic, and breast imaging into third-party PACS infrastructures. And it includes the same workflow benefits, advanced visualization capabilities, customizable user interface, and online archiving functionality as I-SoftView, according to Cedara.
