Neurostar will unveil its Virtual Radiology Community Web site and version 2.0 of its Virtual Radiology Network (VRN) image management service.
The Web site provides a platform for sharing imaging services, resources, and information for VRN users and other imaging professionals, according to the Atlanta-based company. It acts as a subportal for imaging businesses looking to outsource reading and as a means to connect those businesses with offsite reading service providers. It also provides a gateway to VRN.
Imaging providers using PACS-In-A-Flash can access VRN's Intelligent Virtual Workflow engine to maintain current work lists for downloaded images, thanks to automated online synchronization with the central VRN. A Web-based control dashboard streamlines administration and maintenance, Neurostar said.
