Healthcare information systems (HIS) developer Computer Programs and Systems (CPSI) reported a strong fiscal fourth quarter (end-December 31) and an increase in net revenues for the fiscal year, according to the Mobile, AL-based firm.
Net revenues for the fourth quarter increased 11.9% to $24.3 million, compared with total revenues of $21.7 million for the prior year. Net income for the quarter increased 24.8% to $2.8 million, compared with $2.2 million for the same period last year.
Total revenues for the 2004 fiscal year increased 1.7% to $82.7 million, compared with total revenues of $81.3 million for the prior-year period. Net income for the year decreased 10.2% to $7.1 million, compared with $7.9 million for fiscal 2003.
CPSI said it anticipates total revenues of $23 million to $24 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2005, and net income of approximately $2.4 million to $2.7 million.
