Candelis has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for ImageGrid StreamVue, a diagnostic viewing platform designed to layer onto existing PACS environments without requiring infrastructure replacement.
StreamVue uses proprietary image streaming technology to deliver diagnostic-quality images across CT, MR, ultrasound, digital radiography, mammography, PET, and other DICOM-compliant modalities. Candelis said the platform is available as an on-premises hardware appliance, a virtual machine, or a cloud-hosted solution.
The platform is built on Candelis' existing ImageGrid enterprise imaging architecture and is used at more than 4,000 imaging facilities worldwide, according to the company.
