Mantis to introduce MantisIQ

Healthcare informatics developer Mantis Technology of New York City will debut its Web-enabled MantisIQ RIS at the 2003 RSNA meeting later this month. The application is built entirely in C# and runs on the Microsoft Windows 2003 64-bit operating system, the firm said.

Mantis IQ features configurable scheduling, front desk, preauthorization and technologist modules. It also incorporates a customizable radiologist workflow module with voice integration, digital dictation, clinical messaging, and electronic signature capabilities, as well as a digital patient study record with document imaging, film, and digital study management, according to Mantis.

The software also has billing, collections, insurance verification and validation modules. It includes a RIS/PACS interface powered by an integration engine with DICOM modality worklist and image storage, HL7, XML, and Web results distribution capabilities, said Mantis.
