Siemens, Anceta ink informatics partnership deal

Multimodality vendor Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, has partnered with Anceta to supply IT infrastructure and support services for the commercial development of a patient-information repository in the U.S.

The project will provide participating multispecialty groups with access to comparative data among groups of similar size and structure, and key benchmarks for practice management, clinical performance, product performance, health outcomes, economics, and quality of care, according to Siemens.

Anceta is a subsidiary of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) of Alexandria, VA, and has nearly 300 members. It launched the data warehouse program for its multispecialty medical group members to aggregate and analyze their patient data.
