Breast cancer treatment developer Orbital Therapy of Bedford, MA, has released a new artifact-reducing insert for the ClearVue prone-position patient table.
The design of the new insert is intended to reduce shadow effects, resulting in an enhanced CT image of the breast. ClearVue is currently in use at cancer treatment facilities, including NYU Cancer Institute in New York City and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
