CT laser mammography (CTLM) developer Imaging Diagnostic Systems (IDSI) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, has hired a strategic advisor to focus the company's efforts to implement its business plan.
IDSI has tapped Karsten Damgaard-Iversen as senior business management consultant to prepare and execute a business plan to launch new technology in the field of laser fluorescence imaging and to complete the company's pending premarket approval submission for its CTLM system to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Damgaard-Iversen has served in executive positions such as managing director and chief group executive of Toshiba Medical Systems Europe, vice president of international operations of Fischer Imaging, and director of sales and marketing of Storz Medical.
