Archiving services provider National Digital Medical Archive (NDMA) has eliminated the fee-for-storage, subscription-based package for its myNDMA consumer portal service.
Instead, patients will now gain access to myNDMA with free on-demand access and unlimited storage capacity for their electronic health records and digital medical images, according to the Berwyn, PA-based firm.
In addition, the firm has upgraded myNDMA, adding features such as a dashboard, the ability to upload and store actual medical records and digital medical images, a digital mammography facility locator tool, a My Healthcare Provider Locker, and links to resources.
NDMA said it also plans to add new features, including an e-mail notification feature that will alert patients of new studies stored in the NDMA.
