RaySearch plans to highlight upgrades to its RayCare oncology information system and its RayIntelligence cloud-based oncology analytics system at the upcoming American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting to be held in San Diego.
The new version of RayCare features improved treatment schedules and support for better data migration, while RayIntelligence includes tools that support the import of DICOM data and clinical goals dashboards, the company said.
RaySearch has also secured a contract with proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) for RayCare and its treatment planning system RayStation; the systems will be installed at CRO National Cancer Institute in Aviano, Italy.
Finally, in other RaySearch news, the firm has expanded its partnership with MedAustron of Wiener Neustadt in Austria, a center that specializes in advanced cancer radiation therapy treatment through the use of protons and carbon ions.
