Accuray sees Q3 revenues decreases, names new CEO

Accuray released financial results for the third quarter of the 2022 fiscal year showing a decline in revenue from the previous year. The company also announced promotions, including a new CEO.

The company reported its revenue to be $96.2 million, which represents a decrease of 6% compared with the same period of the prior year ($102.6 million). Product revenue totaled $43.2 million while service revenue totaled $53 million, both of which were respective decreases from the previous year.

The company's net loss for the most recent quarter was $1 million, compared with a net loss of $390,000 in the corresponding quarter of 2021.

In other news, Accuray said it is promoting company President Suzanne Winter to the position of CEO, succeeding Joshua Levine, effective July 1. Levine will retire from the company's board of directors at the end of the company's fiscal year on June 30 and will be in a consulting role through June 30, 2023.

Winter joined Accuray as senior vice president and chief commercial officer in 2019 and has served as the company's president since July 2021.

The company is also appointing Ali Pervaiz as senior vice president and chief financial officer leading the global finance organization and overseeing all financial aspects of the company, effective May 9.
