Radiation therapy developer Accuray has appointed Sandeep Chalke as its new senior vice president, chief commercial officer. Chalke began in the position on May 16.
He will be responsible for the company's global commercial, product development, and engineering functions, and he will report to president and CEO Suzanne Winter.
Chalke brings more than 25 years of medical device commercialization experience to the post. His most recent position was at Vyaire Medical, where he served as president of the company's Asia-Pacific and Latin America concerns and managed manufacturing sites in those regions. He has also held leadership posts at Medtronic, Acelity, and GE Healthcare.
