
Mevion Medical Systems has partnered with Proton International to provide Mevion's compact proton therapy technology to a new proton therapy and research center at the University of Texas in San Antonio.
UT Health San Antonio Proton Therapy and Research Center will feature Mevion's S250i proton therapy system with the company's HyperScan pencil-beam scanning technology, according to the companies.
