
Radiation oncology firm Elekta is establishing the Elekta Foundation to support projects in low- and middle-income countries to improve access to cancer care.
The foundation will focus on three areas: increasing awareness and prevention, strengthening cancer care infrastructure, and expanding training and education.
It will initiate and support projects and programs in partnership with governments, nongovernmental organizations, and healthcare providers in these areas, the firm said.
