Mevion Medical Systems has inked an agreement to provide its Mevion S250i proton therapy system with Hyperscan pencil-beam scanning to a Texas healthcare facility. The center was not named.
The company expects to fulfill the contract in the second half of this year, it said. The installation will establish the first compact proton therapy center in Texas, according to Mevion.
