Mevion Medical Systems has signed an agreement to install one of its proton therapy systems at Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China.
The company will provide its Mevion S250i proton therapy system to the hospital's cancer center, with treatment expected to begin in 2021. It will be the first system of its kind in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau region, according to Mevion.
