
Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has completed cyclotron installation for its ProBeam single-room proton therapy system at the Biopolis international research hub in Singapore.
The Varian proton therapy system is equipped with a 360-degree rotating gantry for intensity modulated proton therapy and is housed in the new oncology center at the Biopolis, according to the vendor. The installation is the first of its kind in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
