Canon Medical Systems and radiation therapy software developer RaySearch Laboratories will partner to integrate RaySearch's advanced software with Canon Medical's imaging systems and advanced visualization products.
RaySearch will contribute its RayStation and RayCare software, as well as its RayPACS. The collaboration is intended to streamline the process of virtual simulation and help clinicians determine how and where patients should be treated, identify the size and location of tumors, and plan the direction of radiotherapy beams.
The companies plan to launch the endeavor first in the U.S.
