Radiation therapy firm RaySearch Laboratories and multimodality vendor Siemens Healthcare have agreed to terminate their partnership in radiation therapy treatment planning.
Under a deal implemented in 2009, RaySearch had been providing Siemens with treatment planning modules for integration with the OEM's syngo Suite for Oncology software.
Under a termination agreement announced this week, Siemens will pay RaySearch a one-time fee of 1 million euros ($1.3 million U.S.) and will provide intellectual property payments to RaySearch.
