The Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) has appointed Dr. Bo Lu, PhD, as chair of the lung cancer subcommittee of the Translational Research Program (TRP) Committee.
Lu is a professor in the department of radiation oncology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where he also serves as director of the department's division of molecular radiation biology, according to RTOG.
The RTOG TRP Committee supports the integration of new scientific discoveries into the design of multicenter clinical trials.
