Philips to distribute SyntheticMR software

Medical imaging software developer SyntheticMR announced that Philips Healthcare will distribute SyntheticMR's imaging software to Philips' U.S. clients.

The deal will give Philips clients another option for generating contrast-weighted images and volumetric data in addition to its current offering, SyntAc. The software is compatible with most MRI scanners from Philips.

Philips will begin selling SyntheticMR's software by mid-June, the company said.
