Microbot Medical taps Sanmina to manufacture Liberty system

Microbot Medical has entered into a letter of agreement with Sanmina Corporation to manufacture its Liberty Endovascular Robotic System, adding a second manufacturing site to expand production capacity and support cost reduction efforts.

The Liberty system, cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is a single-use, remotely operated robotic system for peripheral endovascular procedures. Microbot said the manufacturing expansion is intended to meet growing demand from existing and new accounts across the U.S., as well as anticipated international demand following recent clearance in Israel and ongoing efforts to obtain CE Mark and additional international registrations.

Sanmina is a global contract manufacturer with sites across multiple regions, which Microbot said could support production scaling as the company expands its sales footprint to the western U.S. later in 2026.
