Hitachi Medical Systems America has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its Scenaria Advanced 128-slice CT system.
Scenaria offers users radiation dose-saving tools and rapid workflow, according to Hitachi. Because Scenaria is a scalable platform, the Scenaria Advanced features are also available as a field upgrade for customers with the Scenaria 64-slice unit, Hitachi said.
