Fibroepithelial (Inflammtory) Polyp:

Clinical:

Fibroepithelial polyps arise from the respiratory epithelium of the large airways and are related to chronic irritation/inflammation, foreign body, inhalation of hot or corrosive gas, and rarely bronchiolitis [1]. Patients are generally over the age of 50y. The lesion is usually solitary and does have malignant potential. Removal of the causative factor often leads to regression of the polyp [1].
