Medtronic partners with Vikings NFL team

Interventional device developer Medtronic has partnered with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) in a 10-year deal that includes a plaza, community service program, and medical history display.

Medtronic Plaza will be a three-acre gateway between downtown Minneapolis and U.S. Bank Stadium, the company said. The permanent display of the history of medical technology innovation will be featured in the Medtronic Club inside the stadium.
