GE debuts PET learning program

GE Medical Systems has introduced an interactive distance PET learning program targeted at physicians and technologists. The program's first courses will discuss PET/CT hybrid imaging and PET oncology, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor.

The courses will be moderated by clinicians such as Dr. R. Edward Coleman of Duke University Medical Center of Durham, NC; Dr. Homer Macapinlac of MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston; Dr. Gustav von Schultess of the University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, and Dr. Richard Wahl of Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, GE said.
