NeuroLogica adds cranial stabilization unit

Portable CT developer NeuroLogica is teaming up with German neurosurgery products firm pro med instruments (PMI) to launch its Doro CereTom intraoperative cranial stabilization system.

For use with NeuroLogica's CereTom portable CT scanner, the system is designed to facilitate real-time CT scanning for both invasive and noninvasive applications for head and neck surgery, according to the Danvers, MA-based firm. It can be adapted to all standard operating tables, NeuroLogica said.

In other NeuroLogica news, the company has received an order from Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland in Oakland, CA. The firm will install its CereTom scanner at the institution this month.
