SonoSite wraps up VisualSonics deal

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite has finalized its acquisition of microultrasound technology developer VisualSonics of Toronto.

The Bothell, WA-based vendor paid $67.9 million net of cash and debt for VisualSonics, which will become a wholly owned subsidiary of SonoSite.
