Matrox adds zoom feature to PowerDesk

Display controller board provider Matrox Graphics of Montreal has added a zoom feature to its PowerDesk software, which works with the company's Xenia and Xenia Pro display controller boards.

Xenia Series PowerDesk features provide imaging users and PACS developers with cloning, replication, and programming capabilities for staff meetings, operating rooms, and video conferencing, according to Matrox.

The new PowerDesk Zoom feature allows users to choose a region of interest on the main display with a mouse, or to define multiple display regions using Matrox Desktop Divider, and display these on a screen or projector. It also allows users to define regions of the main display up to the full screen resolution, as well as mix and match grayscale and color and digital and analog display formats, according to Matrox.
