Agfa inks large Brazilian order

Agfa HealthCare has received an order from the Fundação Instituto de Pesquisa e Estudo de Diagnóstico por Imagen (FIDI), a large diagnostic imaging group in São Paulo, Brazil.

The deal calls for the installation of Agfa's computed radiography systems, Impax PACS, a RIS, and a central imaging repository to centralize all image-related information across 25 sites, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor. The three-phase project is expected to be completed by early 2011.
